Our engagement
Territory Weed Management are contracted to APA to carry out noxious and woody weed control along sections of this pipeline corridor in the Northern Territory. Weed control was carried out in Darwin, Daly River, Tipperary, Borroloola and Newcastle Waters.
Easement protection
APA pipeline easements cross many land tenures and it is important that these corridors are maintained free of noxious weeds. Woody weeds develop large root systems that may also threaten the integrity of the pipeline. Territory Weed Management is engaged by APA to control woody weed vegetation in close proximity to the pipeline. This maintains healthy native plant cover in the easement, reducing erosion and protecting the pipeline.
