Murray knows weed control and is an expert in Territory vegetation and management. Employed by the Northern Territory Government for over 10 years, Murray ran weed control programs throughout the NT including Darwin, Alice Springs, Katherine and Tennant Creek.

A weed control expert, Murray’s training extends beyond field experience having undergone specialist woody weed control studies internationally.

Recognising the need for a specialist weed management supplier in the Northern Territory, Murray started Territory Weed Management over 12 years ago and immediately found success with large scale contracts both with government departments and private enterprise.

Now a respected industry authority, Murray is a requested expert and speaks at industry conferences and symposiums.

Through Murray’s direction and expertise, Territory Weed Management is now the Northern Territory’s leading supplier of commercial weed management services and continues to exemplify the core qualities of honesty, reliability, expert knowledge and a high standard of service that were present on the day the business began.

Maintaining strong relationships with industry peers and research authorities, such as the Queensland Tropical Research Centre, means we always operate with the latest techniques, chemical innovations and equipment. For our clients, this means our weed control measures are as effective as possible.

In addition to continually improving our service, adopting new innovations allows us to minimise our environmental impact. We’re an active participant in the Australian DrumMuster Program, and use biodegradable herbicide packaging when available.

Our team

Our team are trained and experience weed management experts who know the Territory. In addition to industry standard chemical management training, our weed controllers also undergo first aid, driving and 4WD recovery training. Each team member also takes pride in their work, is an open and honest communicator, and maintains a high standard of presentability, safety and professional conduct.
